US nonfuel use propylene supplies surge to highest level since March
HOUSTON, October 31, 2018 (PCW) -- US nonfuel use propylene inventories gained 432,000 barrels (14.5%) last week to 3.223 million barrels, the highest level since early March, the EIA said today. It was also the largest weekly uptick in more than year. Propylene inventories have moved up for three consecutive weeks, and for eight of the past twelve weeks. Inventories are now 491,000 barrels (18%) above the 52-week average of 2.732 million barrels. Meanwhile, US Gulf refinery utilization was up 0.6 percentage point last week at 96.5%. -- David Barry
