NYMEX Wednesday Wrap: Oil drops for a third day, gas rises
HOUSTON, October 31, 2018 (PCW) — December NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.87 at $65.31/bbl. December Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.45 at $75.46 bbl. The December Brent/WTI spread widened to $10.15 bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were up 7.4 cents at $3.261 mmBtu. November NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.7680 gal, down 3.79 cpg.
November gasoline differentials were mostly lower versus Tuesday’s level.
A 4 CBOB 87 regular was lower at 5.05 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was down at 5.05 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium was lower at 6.70 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was down at 6.70 over the screen.
RBOB was steady at 3.85 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack spread in the Gulf Coast was $10.32 bbl, $5.64 /bbl under the screen. – John Troland
