NYMEX Thursday Wrap: Oil extends slide to seven month low
HOUSTON, November 1, 2018 (PCW) — December NYMEX crude futures settled down $1.62 at $63.69/bbl. January Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $2.20 at $72.84 bbl. It was the lowest close since early April. The January Brent/WTI spread weakened to $9.03 bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were down 2.4 cents at $3.237 mmBtu. December NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.7165 gal, down 3.49 cpg.
December gasoline differentials were mostly lower versus Wednesday’s level.
A 4 CBOB 87 regular was lower at 5.45 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was down at 5.45 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium was lower at 6.30 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was down at 6.30 over the screen.
RBOB was higher at 3.75 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack spread in the Gulf Coast was $9.48 bbl, $5.70 /bbl under the screen. – John Troland
