NYMEX Friday Wrap: Oil drops close to $63, nat gas gains
HOUSTON, November 2, 2018 (PCW) — December NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.55 at $63.14/bbl. January Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.03 at $72.81 bbl. The January Brent/WTI spread widened to $9.53 bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were up 4.7 cents at $3.284 mmBtu. December NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.7083 gal, down 0.82 cpg.
December gasoline differentials were higher versus Thursday’s level.
A 4 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 4.75 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was up at 4.75 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium was higher at 7.00 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was up at 7.00 over the screen.
RBOB was higher at 3.05 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack spread in the Gulf Coast was $9.64 bbl, $5.47 /bbl under the screen. – John Troland
