NYMEX Tuesday Wrap: Oil drops to seven-month low
HOUSTON, November 6, 2018 (PCW) — December NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.89 at $62.21/bbl, the lowest close for a front month contract since April 6. January Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.95 at $72.15 bbl. The January Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $9.81 bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were down 1.2 cents at $3.555 mmBtu. December NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.6940 gal, down 0.21 cpg.
December gasoline differentials were mixed versus Monday’s level.
A 4 CBOB 87 regular was lower at 5.375 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was down at 5.375 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium was higher at 11.00 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was up at 11.00 over the screen.
RBOB was steady at 3.75 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack spread in the Gulf Coast was $10.22 bbl, $5.64 /bbl under the screen. – John Troland
