NYMEX Friday Wrap: Oil drops close to $60, nat gas jumps
HOUSTON, November 9, 2018 (PCW) — December NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.48 at $60.19/bbl. It was the 10th straight day of declines. January Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.50 at $70.17 bbl. The January Brent/WTI spread was steady at $9.81 bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were up 17.6 cents at $3.719 mmBtu. December NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.6214 gal, down 2.29 cpg.
December gasoline differentials were steady to lower versus Thursday’s level.
A 4 CBOB 87 regular was steady at 7.00 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was unchanged at 7.00 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium was lower at 9.25 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was down at 9.25 over the screen.
RBOB was lower at 6.00 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack spread in the Gulf Coast was $9.37 bbl, $6.26 /bbl under the screen. – John Troland
