NYMEX Tuesday Wrap: Oil plunges $4 to lowest level in a year

HOUSTON, November 13, 2018 (PCW) — December NYMEX crude futures settled down $4.24 at $55.69/bbl. It was the 12th straight session of declines and puts oil at the lowest price since November 16, 2017. January Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $4.55 at $65.62 bbl. The January Brent/WTI spread was narrowed at $9.78 bbl favoring Brent.

Prompt natural gas futures were up 30.0 cents at $4.088 mmBtu. December NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.5427 gal, down 9.40 cpg.

December gasoline differentials were mixed versus Monday’s level.

The 3-2-1 crack spread in the Gulf Coast was $9.49 bbl, $6.89 /bbl under the screen. – John Troland
