US nonfuel use propylene supplies rise for fifth week
HOUSTON, November 15, 2018 (PCW) -- US nonfuel use propylene inventories rose for a fifth consecutive week, gaining 237,000 barrels to 3.965 million barrels, the EIA said today. It was the highest stock level since January 2017. Propylene inventories have climbed 2.178 million barrels from their recent low in early September, and now stand 1.185 million barrels (42.6%) above the 52-week average. Upstream, US Gulf refinery utilization fell by 2.9 percentage points to 93.8%, but throughput remained slightly above average for this time of year. -- David Barry
