NYMEX Tuesday Wrap: Oil plunges $3.77 to lowest level in a year
HOUSTON, November 20, 2018 (PCW) — January NYMEX crude futures settled down $3.77 cents per barrel at $53.43/bbl. It was the lowest close for a front month contract since Oct. 26, 2017. January Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $4.31 at $62.52 bbl. The January Brent/WTI spread was narrowed at $9.09 bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were down 17.7 cents at $4.523 mmBtu. December NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.4959 gal, down 8.70 cpg.
December gasoline differentials were mixed versus Monday’s level.
A 4 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 9.75 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was up at 9.75 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium was lower 7.25 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was down at 7.25 over the screen.
RBOB was steady at 9.25 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack spread in the Gulf Coast was $9.10 bbl, $7.32 /bbl under the screen. – John Troland
