NYMEX Wednesday Wrap: Oil drops close to $50; nat gas surges
HOUSTON, November 28, 2018 (PCW) — January NYMEX crude futures settled down $1.27 at $50.29/bbl. January Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $1.40 at $58.80 bbl. The January Brent/WTI spread was narrowed at $8.51 bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were up 45.3 cents at $4.715 mmBtu. December NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.3979 gal, down 2.29 cpg.
December gasoline differentials were mixed versus Tuesday’s level.
A 4 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 9.25 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was up at 9.25 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium was lower 7.00 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was udownat 7.00 over the screen.
RBOB was steady at 8.50 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack spread in the Gulf Coast was $8.61 bbl, $6.18 /bbl under the screen. – John Troland
