US nonfuel use propylene supplies rise to highest in more than 3 years
HOUSTON, December 28, 2018 (PCW) -- US nonfuel use propylene inventories reached their highest level since July 2015 last week, gaining 155,000 barrels (3.3%) to 4.817 million barrels, the EIA said today. Inventories have climbed in nine of the past twelve weeks and now stand 1.834 million barrels above the 52-week average. Meanwhile, US Gulf Coast refinery throughput remained well above the seasonal average for the week ending December 21, rising 0.1 percentage point from the prior week to 97.9% utilization. -- David Barry
