US nonfuel use propylene supplies rise to 3.5 year high
HOUSTON, January 4, 2019 (PCW) -- US nonfuel use propylene inventories gained 260,000 barrels (5.4%) last week to reach a new 3.5-year high at 5.077 million barrels, the EIA said today. It was the tenth inventory build in the past twelve weeks, and propylene inventories are now double their year-ago level. Meanwhile, US Gulf Coast refinery utilization increased 1.5 percentage point to 99.4%, with gross inputs to Gulf Coast refineries of 9.701 million barrels just shy of the record 9.733 million barrels seen in August 2018 -- David Barry
