US nonfuel use propylene supplies extend record with seventh weekly gain
HOUSTON, January 30, 2019 (PCW) -- US nonfuel use propylene inventories set a new record high last week, climbing 146,000 barrels to 5.837 million barrels, the EIA said today. It was the seventh straight weekly inventory build, and the tenth uptick in the past twelve weeks. Propylene inventories are nearly double their year-ago levels. Meanwhile, US Gulf refinery utilization declined 1.7 percentage point to 90.4%, above the five-year average of 86.9% for this time of year. -- David Barry
