NYMEX Tuesday Wrap: Oil rises above $53 a barrel

HOUSTON, February 12 2018 (PCW) — March NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.69 at $53.10/bbl. April Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.91 at $62.42 bbl. The April Brent/WTI spread widened to $8.95 bbl favoring Brent.

Prompt natural gas futures were up 4.6 cents at $2.688 mmBtu. March NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.4272 gal, up 0.80 cpg.

March gasoline differentials were steady to higher versus Monday’s level.

The 3-2-1 crack spread in the Gulf Coast was $7.25 bbl, $6.31 /bbl under the screen. – John Troland
