NYMEX Wednesday Wrap: Oil nears $54, nat gas drops 11 cents
HOUSTON, February 13 2018 (PCW) — March NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.80 at $53.90 bbl. April Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $1.19 at $63.61 bbl. The April Brent/WTI spread widened to $9.30 bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were down 11.3 cents at $2.575 mmBtu. March NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.4651 gal, up 3.79 cpg.
March gasoline differentials were higher versus Tuesday’s level.
A 4 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 3.25 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was up at 3.25 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium was higher at 11.50 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was up 11.50 over the screen.
RBOB was higher 2.25 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack spread in the Gulf Coast was $8.04 bbl, $6.23 /bbl under the screen. – John Troland
