NYMEX Thursday Wrap: Oil rises as nat gas stays steady
HOUSTON, February 14 2018 (PCW) — March NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.51 at $54.41/bbl. April Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.96 at $64.57 bbl. The April Brent/WTI spread widened to $9.78 bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were down 0.2 cent at $2.573 mmBtu. March NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.5085 gal, up 4.34 cpg.
March gasoline differentials were higher versus Wednesday’s level.
A 4 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 2.75 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was up at 2.75 cpg under the screen.
D4 CBOB 93 premium was higher at 12.50 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was up 12.50 over the screen.
RBOB was higher 1.25 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack spread in the Gulf Coast was $9.19 bbl, $6.24 /bbl under the screen. – John Troland
