NYMEX Wednesday Wrap: Oil nears $57 as nat gas drops

HOUSTON, February 20 2018 (PCW) — March NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.83 at $56.92 bbl. April Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.63 at $67.08 bbl. The April Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $9.92 bbl favoring Brent.

Prompt natural gas futures were down 2.6 cents at $2.636 mmBtu. March NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.5981 gal, up 3.43 cpg.

March gasoline differentials were lower versus Tuesday’s level.

The 3-2-1 crack spread in the Gulf Coast was $9.21 bbl, $6.87 /bbl under the screen. – John Troland
