NYMEX Thursday Wrap: Oil slips as nat gas climbs 6 cents
HOUSTON, February 21 2018 (PCW) — April NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.20 barrel at $56.96 bbl. April Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.01 at $67.07 bbl. The April Brent/WTI spread widened to $10.11 bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were up 6.1 cents at $2.697 mmBtu. March NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.6144 gal, up 1.63 cpg.
March gasoline differentials were mostly higher versus Wednesday’s level.
A 4 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 3.00 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was up at 3.00 cpg under the screen.
D3 CBOB 93 premium was higher at 11.00 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was up 11.00 over the screen.
RBOB was lower 0.75 cpg over the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack spread in the Gulf Coast was $10.17 bbl, $6.80 bbl under the screen. – John Troland
