NYMEX Wednesday Wrap: Oil rises $1.44, nat gas steady
HOUSTON, February 27, 2018 (PCW) — April NYMEX crude futures settled up $1.44 at $56.94/bbl. April Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $1.18 at $66.39/bbl. The April Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $9.45/bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were up 0.3 cent at $2.799/mmBtu. March NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.6340 gal, up 4.77 cpg.
March gasoline differentials were mixed versus Tuesday’s level.
A3 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 1.75 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was up at 1.75 cpg under the screen.
D3 CBOB 93 premium was lower at 13.75 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was down 13.75 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was lower 1.00 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack spread in the Gulf Coast was $11.01 bbl, $6.30 bbl under the screen. – John Troland
