NYMEX Thursday Wrap: Energy futures finish higher
HOUSTON, March 7, 2019 (PCW) -- April NYMEX crude futures settled up 44 cents at $56.66/bbl. May Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased 31 cents to $66.30/bbl. The May Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $9.27/bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were up 2.5 cents at $2.866/mmBtu. April NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.8054/gal, up 1.64 cpg.
April gasoline differentials were mixed versus Wednesday’s levels.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was steady at 10.50 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was unchanged at 10.50 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium was lower at 8.00 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was down at 8.00 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was higher at 1.50 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack spread in the Gulf Coast was $14.54/bbl, $7.53/bbl under the screen. -- John Troland
