NYMEX Thursday Wrap: Crude falters again; natgas extends rally
Houston, March 10, 2016 (PCW) -— April NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.45/bbl to $37.84/bbl. April Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.95/bbl to $40.17/bbl.
The April Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $0.77/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 3.6 cents at $1.882/mmBtu. April NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.4390/gal, down 3.15 cpg.
US Gulf cash gasoline differentials ended mixed versus Wednesday’s levels.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 20.25 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was up at 20.25 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium fell to 6.25 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 93 was down at 6.25 cpg under the screen.
RBOB was lower at 10.50 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $13.21/bbl, $6.27/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
