NYMEX Friday Wrap: Crude ends week with slight losses; natgas, RBOB also tumble
Houston, March 18, 2016 (PCW)—April NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.76/bbl to $39.44/bbl. May Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.34/bbl to $41.18/bbl.
The May Brent/WTI spread widened to $0.04/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 2.9 cents at $1.907/mmBtu. April NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.4273/gal, down 1.10 cpg.
US Gulf cash gasoline differentials ended stronger versus Thursday’s levels.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 19 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was up at 19 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium rose to 0.25 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was higher at 0.25 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was up at 8.00 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $11.06/bbl, $6.58/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
