NYMEX Monday Wrap: Crude opens week with mild gains; natgas, RBOB also finish higher

Houston, March 21, 2016 (PCW) — April NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.47/bbl to $39.91/bbl. May Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.22/bbl to $41.40/bbl.

The May Brent/WTI spread widened to $0.12/bbl favoring WTI. Prompt natural gas futures were down 7.9 cents at $1.828/mmBtu. April NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.4589/gal, up 3.16 cpg.

US Gulf cash gasoline differentials ended stronger versus Friday’s levels.

The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $12.28/bbl, $5.98/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
