Florida scrap bale sale includes 10-12 truckloads of PET
HOUSTON, March 23, 2016 (PCW) -- The Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County, Florida, is offering 10-12 truckloads (about 400,000-480,000 lb) of post-consumer PET bales in its April bid offering, the SWA announced Wednesday.
Bids are due by 2 pm ET on March 31. Terms are FOB SWA Palm Beach County facility.
The SWA is also offering the following baled plastic scrap: four truckloads of HDPE mixed-colors (pigmented); two truckloads of natural (dairy) HDPE; two truckloads of post-sorted numbers 1-7 bottles and containers mixed with rigid and injection-grade numbers 1-7; and one truckload of numbers 1-7 large/oversized rigid and injection-grade plastic material.
Numbers 1-7 refer to PET, HDPE, PVC, LDPE, PP PS and "other," according to a plastics industry identification system.
