NYMEX Monday Wrap: Crude opens week with losses; natgas strengthens
Houston, March 28, 2016 (PCW) -— April NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.07/bbl to $39.39/bbl. May Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.16/bbl to $40.19/bbl.
The May Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $0.80/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 4.2 cents at $1.848/mmBtu. April NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.4680/gal, up 0.21 cpg.
US Gulf cash gasoline differentials ended mostly weaker versus Thursday’s levels.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was lower at 17.75 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was down at 17.75 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium fell to 2.25 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was lower at 2.25 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was up at 6.25 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $13.65/bbl, $6.04/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
