NYMEX Thursday Wrap: Crude sees mixed movement; natgas finds fresh lows
Houston, March 3, 2016 (PCW) -— April NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.09/bbl to $34.57/bbl. April Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.04/bbl to $36.94/bbl.
The April Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $0.57/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 3.9 cents at $1.639/mmBtu. April NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.2988/gal, down 1.19 cpg.
US Gulf cash gasoline differentials ended mixed versus Wednesday’s levels.
A3 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 32.50 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was up at 32.50 cpg under the screen.
D3 CBOB 93 premium fell to 13 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 93 was down at 13 cpg under the screen.
RBOB was lower at 34 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $8.01/bbl, $9.47/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
