NYMEX Monday Wrap: Crude opens week with mixed results; nat gas gains
HOUSTON, March 6, 2017 (PCW) — April NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.13/bbl to $53.20/bbl. May Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.19/bbl to $55.97/bbl.
The May Brent/WTI spread widened to $2.26/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 7.4 cents at $2.901/mmBtu. April NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.6723/gal, up 1.92 cpg.
April gasoline differentials were lower versus Friday’s levels.
A3 CBOB 87 regular was lower at 20.50 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was lower at 20.25 cpg under the screen.
D3 CBOB 93 premium was lower at 0.50 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 93 was lower at 0.25 cpg under the screen.
RBOB was lower at 18.25 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $8.80/bbl, $7.29/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
