NYMEX Tuesday Wrap: Crude, nat gas soften; gasoline makes gains
HOUSTON, March 7, 2017 (PCW) — April NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.06/bbl to $53.20/bbl. May Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.03/bbl to $55.94/bbl.
The May Brent/WTI spread widened to $2.30/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 7.7 cents at $2.824/mmBtu. April NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.6798/gal, up 0.75 cpg.
April gasoline differentials were stronger versus Monday’s levels.
3 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 19.25 cpg under the screen.
BOB 87 was up at 19.00 cpg under the screen.
3 CBOB 93 premium was stronger at 0.50 cpg over the screen.
BOB 93 rose to 0.75 cpg over the screen.
BOB was stronger at 17.50 cpg under the screen.
he 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $9.62/bbl, $6.87/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
