NYMEX Thursday Wrap: Crude, nat gas weaken; gasoline moves up
HOUSTON, March 16, 2017 (PCW) — April NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.11/bbl to $48.75/bbl. May Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.14/bbl to $51.71/bbl.
The May Brent/WTI spread was steady at $2.47/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 7.9 cents at $2.902/mmBtu. April NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.5942/gal, up 1.08 cpg.
April gasoline differentials were mixed versus Wednesday’s levels.
2 CBOB 87 regular was weaker at 14.00 cpg under the screen.
BOB 87 was softer at 13.75 cpg under the screen.
2 CBOB 93 premium was stronger at 0.75 cpg over the screen.
BOB 93 was up at 1.00 cpg over the screen.
BOB was steady at 2.00 cpg under the screen.
he 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $11.23/bbl, $5.72/bbl under the screen. –- John Troland
