NYMEX Tuesday Wrap: Crude, gasoline probe lower; nat gas rises
HOUSTON, March 21, 2017 (PCW) — April NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.88/bbl to $47.34/bbl. May Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.68/bbl to $50.96/bbl.
The May Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $2.7/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 5.2 cents at $3.093/mmBtu. April NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.6052/gal, down 0.61 cpg.
April gasoline differentials were mostly unchanged versus Monday’s levels.
2 CBOB 87 regular was steady at 12.50 cpg under the screen.
BOB 87 was unchanged at 12.25 cpg under the screen.
2 CBOB 93 premium was firm at 2.25 cpg over the screen.
BOB 93 went unmoved at 2.50 cpg over the screen.
BOB was weaker at 2.55 cpg under the screen.
he 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $13.33/bbl, $5.32/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
