US nonfuel use propylene supplies rise for second week

HOUSTON, March 22, 2017 (PCW) -- US nonfuel use propylene inventories edged up 3,000 bbls (0.1%) to 2.45 million bbls for the week ending March 17, the Energy Department reported today.

Inventories dropped 2.416 million bbls during a ten-week stretch to start 2017, but have shown slight builds over the past two weeks, according to the department's Energy Information Administration. Meanwhile, US Gulf refinery utilization rebounded by 3.1 percentage points to 89% last week.-- David Barry
