NYMEX Wednesday Wrap: Crude drops 20 cents, nat gas also declines
HOUSTON, March 22, 2017 (PCW) — May NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.20/bbl to $48.04/bbl. May Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.30/bbl to $506.6/bbl.
The May Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $2.62/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 8.2 cents at $3.011/mmBtu. April NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.6019/gal, down 0.33 cpg.
April gasoline differentials were lower versus Tuesday’s levels.
2 CBOB 87 regular was lower at 13.75 cpg under the screen.
BOB 87 was down at 13.50 cpg under the screen.
2 CBOB 93 premium was lower at 1.00 cpg over the screen.
BOB 93 was down at 1.25 cpg over the screen.
BOB was lower at 4.00 cpg under the screen.
he 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $12.85/bbl, $5.67/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
