NYMEX Friday Wrap: Crude, gasoline, nat gas close week with gains
HOUSTON, March 24, 2017 (PCW) — May NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.27/bbl to $47.97/bbl. May Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.21/bbl to $50.73/bbl.
The May Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $2.76/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 2.5 cents at $3.076/mmBtu. April NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.6048/gal, up 1.52 cpg.
April gasoline differentials were steady to weaker versus Thursday’s levels.
2 CBOB 87 regular was softer at 15.00 cpg under the screen.
BOB 87 was down at 14.75 cpg under the screen.
2 CBOB 93 premium was steady at 2.50 cpg over the screen.
BOB 93 was unchanged at 2.75 cpg over the screen.
BOB was weaker at 4.50 cpg under the screen.
he 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $12.57/bbl, $6.01/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
