NYMEX Monday Wrap: Crude, nat gas open with losses; gasoline make gains
HOUSTON, March 27, 2017 (PCW) — May NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.24/bbl to $47.73/bbl. May Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.02/bbl to $50.75/bbl.
The May Brent/WTI spread widened to $3.02/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 2.4 cents at $3.052/mmBtu. April NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.6189/gal, up 1.41 cpg.
April gasoline differentials were stronger versus Friday’s levels.
2 CBOB 87 regular was up at 14.25 cpg under the screen.
BOB 87 was stronger at 14.00 cpg under the screen.
2 CBOB 93 premium was higher at 3.75 cpg over the screen.
BOB 93 rose to 4.00 cpg over the screen.
BOB was higher at 3.25 cpg under the screen.
he 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $13.56/bbl, $5.77/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
