NYMEX Thursday Wrap: Crude, gasoline extend gains; nat gas retreats
HOUSTON, March 30, 2017 (PCW) — May NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.84/bbl to $50.35/bbl. May Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.65/bbl to $53.00/bbl.
The May Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $2.65/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 4.0 cents at $3.191/mmBtu. April NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.6812/gal, up 0.92 cpg.
April gasoline differentials were stronger versus Wednesday’s levels.
2 CBOB 87 regular rose to 11.75 cpg under the screen.
BOB 87 was up at 11.50 cpg under the screen.
2 CBOB 93 premium was stronger at 4.75 cpg over the screen.
BOB 93 was up at 5.00 cpg over the screen.
BOB was higher at 0.75 cpg under the screen.
he 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $14.05/bbl, $5.19/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
