NGL stocks down 14.1% in January, lowest levels in 10 months: EIA data
HOUSTON, March 31, 2017 (PCW) -– Natural gas liquids stocks fell 863,000 barrels to 5.268 million barrels in January compared to December, according to EIA data released Friday.
Propane/propylene stocks fell 259,000 barrels in January to 2.647 million barrels. Ethane/ethylene inventories declined 324,000 barrels month-on-month to 598,000 barrels in January.
Other NGLs’ stockpile data is as follows:
· Butane/butylene: 823,000 barrels, down 251,000 barrels from December;
· Isobutane/isobutylene: down 18,000 barrels from December to 670,000 barrels;
· Pentanes plus (natural gasoline): 530,000 barrels, a 11,000 barrel decrease.
