January NGL production growth nearly flat month-on--month: EIA data
HOUSTON, March 31, 2017 (PCW) – Natural gas liquids production saw a minimal increase of 633,000 barrels to 104.309 million barrels (3.36 million b/d) in January from December, according to EIA data released Friday.
Ethane/ethylene production continued to surpass that of propane/propylene coming in at 38.118 million barrels (1.23 million b/d), up 337,000 barrels from December. Propane/propylene supplies came in at 34.989 million barrels (1.13 million b/d) in January, up 276,000 barrels from December.
Other NGLs’ production data is as follows:
· Butane/butylene: 9.708 million barrels (313,161 b/d), up 645,000 barrels from December;
· Isobutane/isobutylene: 9.142 million barrels (294,903 b/d), a decrease of 574,000 barrels;
· Pentanes plus (natural gasoline): 12.352 million barrels (398,452 b/d), a 51,000 barrel decline.
