NYMEX FRIDAY WRAP: Oil drops below $37, natgas slips
Houston, April 1, 2016 (PCW) -— May NYMEX crude futures settled down $1.55/BBL, to $36.79. June Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $1.45 to $38.88. The June Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $0.68/bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were down 0.3 cents at $1.956/mmBtu. May NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.4016 pg, down 4.51 cpg.
US Gulf cash gasoline differentials ended lower versus Thursday’s levels.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was lower at 20.75 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was down at 20.75 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium was lower at 4.50 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 93 retreated to 4.50 cpg under the screen.
RBOB was down at 13.25 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $11.58/bbl, $6.72/bbl under the screen. – John Troland.
