NYMEX Monday Wrap: Oil closes above $40, natgas drops below $2
Houston, April 11 2016 (PCW)—May NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.64/BBL, to $40.36. June Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.98 to $42.79. The June Brent/WTI spread widened to $1.04/bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were down 7.8 cents at $1.912/mmBtu. May NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.5077 pg, up 4.40 cpg.
US Gulf cash gasoline differentials were higher versus Friday’s levels.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 19.00 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was up at 12.25 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium was higher at 5.25 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 increased to 5.00 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was higher at 12.50 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $13.24/bbl, $5.62/bbl under the screen. – John Troland.
