NYMEX Friday Wrap: Crude, natgas, gasoline close week with losses
Houston, April 14, 2016 (PCW) —- May NYMEX crude futures settled down $1.14/bbl to $40.36/bbl. June Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.90/bbl to $42.98/bbl.
The June Brent/WTI spread widened to $1.27/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 6.8 cents at $1.902/mmBtu. May NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.4612/gal, down 4.44 cpg.
US Gulf cash gasoline differentials were stronger versus Wednesday’s levels.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 21 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was up at 14.25 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium was higher at 1.50 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 increased to 1.50 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was higher at 15 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $11.91/bbl, $5.89/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
