US nonfuel use propylene supplies fall first time in six weeks

Houston, April 20, 2016 (PCW) -- US nonfuel use propylene inventories fell 16,000 bbls (-0.4%) to 3.902 million bbls, the Energy Department reported today. The slight decline halted a run of five consecutive weekly builds, and inventories were still more than 25% higher than four weeks ago, according to the department's Energy Information Administration. Gulf Coast refinery utilization slipped 1.5 percentage points to 91.7%, the lowest level in four weeks. -- David Barry
