NYMEX Wednesday Wrap: Oil climbs above $42, natgas falls
Houston, April 20, 2016 (PCW) -— May NYMEX crude futures settled up $1.55/BBL, to $42.63. June Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $1.71 to $45.74. The June Brent/WTI spread was steady at $1.56/bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were down 1.9 cents at $2.069/mmBtu. May NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.5068 pg, up 2.69 cpg.
US Gulf cash gasoline differentials were higher versus Tuesday’s levels.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 17.00 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was up at 10.75 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium was higher at 6.00 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 increased to 7.25 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was higher at 13.50 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $13.30/bbl, $4.91/bbl under the screen. – John Troland.
