NYMEX Thursday Wrap: Oil drops, Brent/WTI spread narrows to $1.39
Houston, April 21 2016 (PCW)—June NYMEX crude futures settled down $1.00/BBL, to $43.18. June Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $1.17 to $44.57. The June Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $1.39/bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were down 0.1 cents at $2.068/mmBtu. May NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.5159 pg, up 0.91 cpg.
US Gulf cash gasoline differentials were mostly higher versus Wednesday’s levels.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 14.50 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was up at 7.00 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium was higher at 6.25 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 decreased to 6.25 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was higher at 11.25 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $14.18/bbl, $4.28/bbl under the screen. – John Troland.
