NYMEX Friday Wrap: Crude closes week with slight gains; natgas rallies
Houston, April 22, 2016 (PCW) —- June NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.55/bbl to $43.73/bbl. June Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.55/bbl to $45.12/bbl.
The June Brent/WTI spread was steady at $1.39/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 7.2 cents at $2.140/mmBtu. May NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.5309/gal, up 1.50 cpg.
US Gulf cash gasoline differentials were weaker versus Thursday’s levels.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was lower at 16.75 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was down at 9.50 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium fell to 5 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 decreased to 5 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was lower at 11.50 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $13.61/bbl, $4.90/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
