NYMEX Monday Wrap: Crude opens week with stiff losses; natgas rallies
Houston, April 4, 2016 (PCW) -— May NYMEX crude futures settled down $1.09/bbl to $35.70/bbl. June Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $1.17/bbl to $37.71/bbl.
The June Brent/WTI spread was steady at $0.68/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 4.2 cents at $1.998/mmBtu. May NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.3770/gal, down 2.46 cpg.
US Gulf cash gasoline differentials ended mixed versus Friday’s levels.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was lower at 21.75 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was down at 21.75 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium was higher at 7 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 increased to 7 cpg over the screen.
RBOB was down at 13.50 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $11.75/bbl, $6.35/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
