NYMEX Monday Wrap: Crude, nat gas, gasoline open week with losses
HOUSTON, April 3, 2017 (PCW) — May NYMEX crude futures settled down $0.36/bbl to $50.24/bbl. June Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $0.39/bbl to $53.14/bbl.
The June Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $2.43/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 6.2 cents at $3.128/mmBtu. May NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.6937/gal, down 0.93 cpg.
May gasoline differentials were stronger versus Friday’s levels.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 11.75 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was up at 11.50 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium was stronger at 5.00 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 rose to 5.25 cpg over the screen.
CBOB was higher at 1.25 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $13.94/bbl, $5.13/bbl under the screen. -- John Troland
