US nonfuel use propylene inventories drop

HOUSTON, April 5, 2017 (PCW) -- US nonfuel use propylene inventories fell 49,000 bbls (1.9%) to 2.465 million bbls for the week ending March 31, the Energy Department reported today. It was the first inventory decline in four weeks, according to the department's Energy Information Administration. Inventories are 894,000 bbls (26.6%) below the 52-week average of 3.359 million bbls. US Gulf refinery utilization was off 0.9 percentage point at 91% last week.
