NYMEX Wednesday Wrap: Crude sees slight uptick; nat gas, gasoline retreat
HOUSTON, April 5, 2017 (PCW) -- May NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.12/bbl to $51.15/bbl. June Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.32/bbl to $54.38/bbl.
The June Brent/WTI spread widened to $2.78/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 2.7 cents at $3.266/mmBtu. May NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.7153/gal, down 0.64 cpg.
May gasoline differentials were weaker versus Tuesday’s levels.
A2 CBOB 87 regular was softer at 12.25 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was down at 12.00 cpg under the screen.
D2 CBOB 93 premium was lower at 4.50 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was weaker at 4.75 cpg over the screen.
RBOB fell to 1.75 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $14.05/bbl, $5.28/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
