NYMEX Thursday Wrap: Crude, gasoline, nat gas extend gains
HOUSTON, April 6, 2017 (PCW) — May NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.55/bbl to $51.70/bbl. June Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.52/bbl to $54.90/bbl.
The June Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $2.77/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were up 6.5 cents at $3.331/mmBtu. May NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.7296/gal, up 1.43 cpg.
May gasoline differentials were stronger versus Wednesday’s levels.
2 CBOB 87 regular was higher at 11.25 cpg under the screen.
BOB 87 was up at 5.25 cpg under the screen.
2 CBOB 93 premium was stronger at 5.50 cpg over the screen.
BOB 93 was up at 13.50 cpg over the screen.
BOB rose to 1.25 cpg under the screen.
he 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $14.26/bbl, $5.05/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
