NYMEX Monday Wrap: Crude, gasoline open week with gains; nat gas dips
HOUSTON, April 10, 2017 (PCW) — May NYMEX crude futures settled up $0.84/bbl to $53.08/bbl. June Brent at the close of the NYMEX increased $0.69/bbl to $55.98/bbl.
The June Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $2.50/bbl favoring Brent. Prompt natural gas futures were down 2.3 cents at $3.238/mmBtu. May NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.7581/gal, up 1.19 cpg.
May gasoline differentials were mostly softer versus Friday’s levels.
2 CBOB 87 regular was weaker at 12.00 cpg under the screen.
BOB 87 was lower at 7.00 cpg under the screen.
2 CBOB 93 premium was down at 2.75 cpg over the screen.
BOB 93 was softer at 7.75 cpg over the screen.
BOB was stronger at 1.00 cpg under the screen.
he 3-2-1 crack in the Gulf Coast was $13.91/bbl, $5.30/bbl under the screen. – John Troland
